QB Cannon’s big day on the ground leads Holmdel football past Oakcrest in G3 playoff

Holmdel High School quarterback Jack Cannon has an appropriate name for the position he plays.
But on Saturday night in the last first-round playoff game of opening weekend, Cannon used his legs more than his arm to lead the third-seeded Hornets past sixth-seeded Oakcrest in a NJSIAA/Xfinity South Jersey Group 3 quarterfinal.
